Do you think he would ever talk to me in email, or ever meet me? I am a great enthusiast in boxing history and My knowledge goes back to 1810 when Tom Molineaux became the first bare knuckled heavyweight champion of America.
He is very friendly, and if he makes another appearance somewhere, I will let you know. He doesn't use a computer. I have his phone number, fax number and address.
hhascup, nice to meet you. I read your very long post, and I admire how you broke down as much math as you could formulate to help support your conclusions. People can always argue with opinions, but never with math. Good job.
Thanks, I have a lot more BUT people like Bill don't like this kind of stuff.
I rate boxers by their record, who they fought and BEAT. You could have a perfect record, BUT if you didn't box anyone, how good is it. There is a boxer from my state of New Jersey, Faruq Saleem, who is 37-0 with 32 KO's, BUT he has never fought anyone. I have all the films of all the Great boxers and I look at them as well.
I figured that he did not use a computer. Oh well. faxing.... ive never done it lol. BTW, you would be surprised to know that I am only 14 years old.
Do you think that I could have his number?
I know what your age is and I also know what Bill's is. This is why a lot of people told me that I should take my knowledge elsewhere, BUT I don't listen to other people.
I really don't like giving out phone numbers. He lives in Chappaqua, N.Y. and I will send you his address if you want. Just send me an E-Mail at: hhascup@yahoo.com

Bert's a funny and nice guy. The last time I saw him, he was walking over to Graziano's bar with his arms over two girls.

I sat with Bert several times. Once at a birthday party for Lou Duva and other times when I was the MC at several boxing functions.
I agree, he is a nice guy.
He told me and my dad a funny story (pretty sure he was exagerating or making it up) about a time where a guy was going nuts so he told him to calm down and the guy went into a coma.
