Thomas Hearns vs Aaron Pryor

In their amateur bout in the 1970's, Aaron won a decision. But, let's say they had a pro match in 1982, who wins?

This one is a Hagler-Hearns type fight, someone is getting KTFO. Pryor's power punching suffocating whirlwind style is a nightmare for Hearns, but Hearns techinique, size, and 1 punch KO power is everybodies stylistic nightmare.

If Pryor's world class iron chin could take it, he wins by a mid-late round stoppage, if not Hearns early-mid round stoppage. Toss up fight.

I pretty much agree with everything you've said there.

in the amateur days, Tommy Hearns did not have a good punch. He developed his punch wehn he became a professional. I see his height and reach advantage, plus his powerful punch taking Pryor down in the 6th round.

stejay is on a distinguished road
I think that Hearns would have too much for Pryor in the end, and beat him on points.

I don't think Pryor would have a chin for it.
