What made you want to become a professional prize fighter?
We'll too be honest I was never into boxing till I saw the Trinidad De La hoya fight

Timothy Bradley along with paulie malinaggi

Anyone that can throw a lot of punches like me
How did it feel fighting on national television a few weekends ago on espn2's friday night fights?
Fighting on TV at the moment didn't bother what felt good about the national exposure was the great comments I was receiving now that felt very good.
Were you nervous the first time you fought on national television?
I never get nervous in my fight I get hype I love to fight
Where do you see your career heading?
To the top baby!!!
I understand that you've done some sparring with ricky hatton. What was that like?
It was great he put a lot of pressure but I was able to maintain and control at times (Great Sparring Session)
Would you ever like to fight ricky hatton?
If he calls I'm signing
How do you feel about him trying to get a rematch with floyd mayweather again?
It won't happen there now in two different weight class leave ricky for me
How did you get your nickname "gato"?
bout two months of me starting boxing I was sparring and there use to be a gym cat that use to run across the ring while people were sparring or not sparring so the day I was sparring in my peripheral vision I could see the cat preparing himself to come across the ring and while sparring he ran across and I caught him and being my trainer was spanish he told I got a name for you since you caught the cat you must be as quick as a cat so your name will be el gato
