Calzaghe rips Hopkins!

Unified super middleweight king Joe Calzaghe has lashed out at Bernard Hopkins after Hopkins' trainer Nazim Richardson suggested that "The Executioner" should fight the Roy Jones Jr-Felix Trinidad winner rather than Calzaghe. "I'd have more respect for him [Hopkins] if he just came out and said 'Joe, look, if I fight you I'm going to get my a-- seriously beat. I accept that you are the best so why don't you just let me be and allow me to fight the winner of these old guys so I can just have an easy pay day' but instead, he's got his trainer to basically say 'Thanks, but no thanks, Bernard doesn't need to tangle with a dangerous young guy like you'....if he is the legend that he says he is then fight me, or otherwise be known as 'the guy who twice chickened out of fighting Joe Calzaghe.'

where the hell did wes go, id love to rip on his prediction that joe would be ko'd by kessler.

he is an amazing fighter, and deserves alot more credit!

whether he fights in american or not you have absolutely nothing on him that proves he is 'a joke' undefeated beaten some greats, ok he has beaten some really suspect boxers for instance manfredo, but he outboxed kessler a young world champion in his prime, lets not forget chris eubank, jeff lacey.

we'll just see when calzaghe takes USA by storm you will all see just how good he is!
