More running per run-session (at least 4 miles), and get to the boxing gym all of those days you're not resting. Interval training is just a supplement to muscle memory/training actual boxing. If it feels like too much on your body after incorporating all that, you could make it two days of rest.
just a suggestion.
Cheers for your input. I've taking your advice on board. I goto a pretty old school boxing gym. Where they incorperate. Interval training and circuit training with some plyometrics mixed in.
In the last training session it went like this. Warm up with jogging on the spot including stretches. Incorporating shadow boxing.
Then we did reaction training. Where the head coach would shout an order. We have to raise out left hand or touch a body part. As as quickly as possible. This even includes doing some exercise as quickly as possible press up,burpees, and sprinting for example.
Then half the group went off and did interval training.
The we came back and the boxers competing in the next comp did sparring. I did bag work.
Then after that we did a ton up circuit training. 10 different exercises including some plyometrics. 10 reps.
You are doing really good mate,I am liking it mate its making sense.
I am gonna try it dude,I guess it will bring some kinda change in my fitness i am happy to see it.
