As certain sportswear companys logo says 'Just Do It'

That is the easy answer.

However we are all guilty of being in your situation at sometime in our lives, a couple of strategies are:

You could agree meet someone at the gym, peer pressure can be strong motivator. rather than committing to a full boxing gym workout.

Use your amateur experience, do a bit of roadwork, skipping etc, watch your diet and you will lose weight, feel fitter and quite possibly motivate you, to get back to gym training, basically any extra exercise is going to make big difference to you.

I hated every minute of training, but I said, "Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion."

It all comes down to is how bad you want it, nobody nor no energy drink is gonna give you the motivation to push your self only you can do that, if need be take a nap after work then go at it, or just dont go home and just work out after work, also some people enjoy training before going to work this may work as you'll be working out after resting a full night... eat multiple vitamin at night so it dissolves as you sleep ,helped out by a cup of strong coffee and star burning man......:punch:I'm 53 and I really push myself...
