I'd really suggest getting your feet checked.
For example, I had massive pain in the balls of my feet. My chiro sent me to a foot specialist. Turns out, that due to the way my feet are built I can't walk on anything but the balls of my feet (I run on tippy toes lol.) If I try to put my heels down I end up tearing my calve muscles. I had to get very expensive inserts to take the pressure off of the balls of my feet. I have to wear heels ( good thing I'm a girl

) to avoid injury.
Not saying that this is your issue, but you'd be surprised at what the construction of your foot can do to you and cause pain. Get it checked just to be safe and avoid injury.
