cottage cheese... unless you're really trying to pack on the pounds; in that case, full fat cottage cheese with ton of peanut butter and a protein shake for kicks. next to meats, cottage cheese is the best source of protein available.

man, cottage cheese? That would suck

Protein for sure. Beans, nuts, steak or other red meat, eggs, fish, etc.

Other than protein shakes. I'd suggest rice, beans, chicken or pasta.

Southpaw, is the protien shake good even if your trying to lose weight? I'm 6'-1" and weigh 250lbs. I'm starting at a local boxing gym today and I definitely need to lose some weight, so should I still be taking the weigh protein?

a 20-40 gram protein shake isnt really going to put much weight on unless your drinking about 3 or 4 a day and lifting. Once a day will still allow you to help lose weight, you'll just be refreshing your muscles basically. I highly suggest the 23 g syntha-6 protein shakes.
