Strained my back while training

We were doing some new drills yesterday and i strained the lower left side of my back. Should i still work out today or will it get worse? And do these kind of things just go away on their own?

bummer

Sure can't diagnose through this keyboard. Bummer, though. Does it feel like it's in the muscles, vs the spine? It's not too common to strain those muscles in the lumbar. I've done it once or twice and, in my case, made sure to rest it. Man, you don't want recurring back issues.
