New to Boxing and Want to Train Smart

I recently began boxing with a friend and wanted to get some advice so that I don't pick up any bad habits. There aren't any gyms near me and I don't have access to a trainer so it's pretty much just my friend and I. We usually start out with a few rounds on the heavy bag, and then spar a few rounds with one of us working on our defense while the other goes on the offensive, and then end it with a final sparring session at about 50-75% speed. Do you have any advice on what drills to perform or what to do or not do? Also how does our routine sound?

Thanks

I grew up in Ohio, and the nearest gym and trainer from me were miles away. Even then I kept going up to Cleveland every 2 days and I eventually signed a trainer. Now I am a fighter, professionally and also train my nephew of 17 years as well as myself. The key to the story is travel, you will never become a good fighter, unless you travel and get a trainer and some fights. Boxers are judged upon fights, you will be adecent fighter maybe, but you will never know without fights and a trainer. Good luck.
