Best punch combinations for someone with short reach?

For a guy that's 147 lbs, I'm at a pretty short height of 5'6" or 5'7". Not only that, but one of my coaches is at the exact same height as me, and has significantly longer reach than I do. However, every single coach that sparred with me said that I have quite a lot of power and need to close the distance A LOT MORE. My preference was to be an out-boxer as I dislike being hit, but given my short range it's probably not the best idea.

I've been watching some videos of Tyson and he is extremely fast for a heavyweight. Tyson was much shorter than a lot of his opponents, so that tells me to start fighting inside, bobbing and weaving like Tyson.

The only combo that really stuck in my head is the left jab->right cross->left hook->right uppercut. I was told that I need more combos in my arsenal or I'll always be confused with what to do in the ring. My favorite is the left jab->left hook since no one ever sees it coming

I stole this from Freddie Roach on You Tube:

1,2, dip/step left, 3body,

1,2, dip/step left, 3body, 3

--
I have been working on:

1,2, dip/step right, right hook body, 3

1,2, dip/step right, right hook body, right hook head

--
I like this line, because theoretically, if you dont step out or the opponent doesnt step out, you can do it over and over in different strings.. or until you want to step out.

technique is huge here of course but it is exciting to see how there are legitimate combos and methods out there for your (and mine as well) style

Freddie Roach is Manny Pacquiao's coach right? I guess there's emphasis on stepping to the left since he is a southpaw. Regardless, those look like some fun combos to throw

1,2, dip/step right, right hook body, 3

^^ For that combo, what does the 3 mean? Is that a jab whilst stepping backwards?

left hook head, but I assume a left jab would also be good if you want to get back into stance quicker

yes hes his coach. but the dip left was to get out of the way of a counter right hand, and also make the opponent come to you or you win the exchange.

freddie says that you should dip when you move, just so dont get caught with a random punch thrown into space... he says "luck shouldnt be involved in pro boxing, everything has a purpose" and that the dip doesnt slow you down but keeps your head safe.

This is a good video to for how to get in for body punches, and also from what I know effective body punches can limit your opponents use of his reach.

Jab/left hook/right hand
Jab/left hook head and body
Jab/right hand/left hook body/left uppercut
Jab/left uppercut/right hand
Right hand/left hook
Right hand/left uppercut
Right hand body/left hook body

You should use your jab to work your way in and bob and weave a lot. Also learn to counter your opponent's jab because that's the punch that will give you the most trouble. Don't just walk in recklessly or you'll catch an uppercut.

for a shorter guy.. looking at Tyson's tapes are a great way to start.

Hooks to the body followed by an uppercut is extremely good if done correctly. Watch how Tyson follows up his body punches with uppercuts, he get's full leverage on those ones, and its actually hard to miss up close.

some other combos for short fighters against taller opponents:
jab to the body - overhand right
jab to the eye - left uppercut - overhand right
left hook to the body - solar plexus right hand - roundhouse left hook to the head
