When a fighter becomes what you call "shot"these are the first signs.Unable to get a rythm going, wound up and tight, hesitation to throw punhces due to relefexes going down and gets frustrated easily. Oscar had those symptons from 2006 and slowly got worse over a few years or so.

Getting hit with punches they normally wouldn't have. Missing punches that they would normally have landed. Problems with letting their hands go. Punch resistance decreases.

Depends on the fighter and it varies from fighter to fighter. For example Juan Marquez, he definitely isn't shot, but so far the first signs have been his 'legs'. They look kinda gone and basically due to his in ring experience and tools, has been enough.
Jones Jr's legs as well were the first thing that went.

Then other fighters it may be reflexes. Other fighters it's the fire inside that goes, they no longer have the heart. It varies from time to time.

Shane

I was about to mention Shane. After the Mayweather fight alot of insiders ssys he shows signs of being shot. He coulndt let his hands go against a man who he his pychicly stronger than. The reflexes where not what they were. Then the stamina was a issue. With Mora he didnt gas as early but he was fighting wild clinching when he could, sloppy around the ring, swinging his arms with his face wide open for a punch. If that same Mosley shows up vs Pacquiao it might be Shanes last fight unless they throw the towel in for him.Unlike what Floyd did to Shane is land pot shots or two punches on Shane , Pacquiao will hit him with 5 punch combos over and over. Hes gonna get wasted if his abilitys dont hold up.:rip:
