You may be right on Margarito et al. If Hatton cannot manhandel an opponent, he will be in trouble. Oscar would give him more than he could handle.

Hatton Fight

I have always liked Hatton, thought he was a very good fighter. I have to disagree with the judges and some who say they watched this fight. Hatton was not his usual self and was beaten by Collazo. The first round knockdown was partially a trip, they were getting their legs caught all night long. Collazo was the better puncher during this fight, maybe not in numbers but in effective punching. Hatton held continously and was never warned for it, also he tried to wrestle more than box. I really think he realized that he was capable of loosing this fight. I would have loved to hear the judges validate their decision.

Cool Hitman

Hatton won that fight easy. That being said Collazzo has noone to blame but himself for not doing any work in about 7 of the rounds. Evertime he moved his hands he banged hatton up. Hatton is by no means one of my favorites but he outworked him in 7 of the rounds and scored that flash knockdown. A rematch would be interesting but boring and quite the same I think. I bet the fight to go the distance so i didn't care either way but if i bet collazzo i would be pissed at him not the judges

Cool Garbage

This wasn't a fight by Hatton's part. He's a brawler, and not a good one at that. I think Mayorga could beat him any day of the weak, twice on Sunday. Mayorga only got beat by De La Hoya because he was technically out classed. Mayorga would dominate Hatton and show him for what he really is, a pretender.

Garbage, Hatton would take out Mayorga by getting inside his wide punches and pounding him to the body. 7th round tko as Mayorga quits like a dog on his stool.

Cool Where's Hatton heading anyway?

Yes he won the title from Collazo but barely. He didn't beat Collazo, he simply won it based on his role as the up and comer. Collazo already had the role of underdog coming into the fight. If Collazo got the decision we wouldn't be talking about him. As I understand, it was one of Hatton's first fights in the US and his style wasn't crowd pleasing at all. Its going to be hard to market him as a legitimate threat to Oscar or Floyd.

how many of you hatton haters are from the u.s and how many of you know he mist a good chunk of training camp because he was up against frank warren in court over rights to his contract.

all i seem to hear is if hatton never put collazo down in round 1 he would have lost the fight man tht would only have been a 1 point swing and he had it by 3 on all judges cards, all ive heared is that hatton isnt strong enough for 147 well let me tell you something he was stronger than kostya who outbullyed former undisputed champ at 147 judah.

and i bet nobody knows that hatton actualy accepted an offer from margarito to fight before margie was told he must face paul williams aftyer clottey.

i hear people saying if hatton fought mayweather he would lose easy hell no look at what lightweight castillo done to floyd thats what i call a robery and hattoin can fight that style better than castillo ever could dream of.

if hatton an d mayweather ever fight the hitman will tko floyd within 10 rounds.

First of all, Kostya beat a thug when he beat Judah! I watched Zab Judah fight as a amateur boxer, tried to get matches with him for my fighters all he wanted was sure shot fights. As much as I don't like his attitude I believe Floyd Mayweather is the cream of the 147lb crop!
