I dont understand why so many people are dropping JMM so far down their list. What has Hopkins and Mosley done to move them ahead of Marquez? Hopkins hasn't fought in over a year, and by the time Mosley gets back in the ring I'm sure it will be over a year for him too.

Marquez moved up and knocked out the best at 135, then moved up two more weightclasses and lost to Floyd Mayweather. Most of us know Marquez beat Pacquico, so why is he falling so fast on everyones P4P lists? Hopkins and Mosley have done nothing to justify them moving ahead of Marquez, I dont care what happaned against Floyd.

It's because JMM looked awful at 147 and when you see a guy like Pacquaio thrive at the weights that JMM couldn't, it's hard for me to put them next to eachother on a P4P list.

Greed was the main reason he moved up to challenge Floyd so he can't complain about being dropped a few places on the list. :cop:

Cant see why some people would rate Rafa Marquez over Israel, i understood it when Israel had been inactive but he made a comeback fight as did Rafael so imo Izzy should always be ahead.

Darchinyan moved up and loss to a good fighter, was also up in weight when he beat p4p top 10 Mijares and Arce. Done more than mayweather has in the past years.

Beating a blown up superfeather weight dont cut into 2nd p4p for me

Not having Mayweather in your P4P top 10 is utter idiocy.

I agree with you, but that doesn't cause me to drop him below the inactive Hopkins and Mosely.

And you cant compare Pacquiao moving up in weight to fight Diaz, DLH, and Hatton. WHen Marquez has moved up in weight and fought the best at 135 and then moved up two more weight classes to fight Floyd. You're damn right Manny is thriving at higher weights, look at his opponents, you cant expect Marquez to do to Floyd what Manny did to DLH.

I'm the first one to dismiss Pac's wins at 135+ but you can't deny how great Pac has looked. Marquez looked like **** at 144. Pacquaio also would have destroyed Casamayor and Juan Diaz.

Your view is fucked by yank bias

Mayweather aint done **** since 2001, and has only beaten a blown up 126 lb'er since 2007.

Since 2007 what has he done better than Darchinyan

I think "Anti-Yank Bias" is more of a factor here. :cop:

A cruel bunch they are over there. :stew:

I still find it hard to believe that even a former fan of Floyd doesn't have him in the top 10.

No doubt Manny has looked great, and I agree Manny would have destroyed Casamayor and Juan Diaz.

In my mind JMM beat Pacquaio in March of 08.

Pacquaio's move to 135 = David Diaz TKO 9

Marquez's move to 135 = Casamayor TKO 11; Diaz TKO 9.

Pacquaio's move to 147 = DLH TKO 8

Marquez's move to 147 (because Floyd did weigh in at 146) = UD Loss

And we know what Pacquaio did to Hatton.

Marquez lost to Floyd, looked horrible in doing so, but we are talking about Floyd Mayweather and an unknown weight class (for JMM) here. Floyd hasnt done yet enough to get him back to P4P #1. Hopkins and Mosley continue to be inactive, so they stay at 4, and 5.

1. Manny Pacquiao
2. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
3. Juan Manual Marquez
4. Shane Mosley
5. Bernard Hopkins

Thats just my take....

You got to fight to get in there in my book.

So if ricardo lopez came back fighting a 80lb 40 yr old he will jump to the top ten aswell?

Lets see if Mayweather sticks around and fights the winner of Cotto-Pacman

May 8, 2004 and March 15, 2008. Only an idiot who can't score or likes sucking on Pacquiao's cock would score them 2 fights for Pac. They were obvious Marquez wins. And this coming from the forums most unbiased poster
