Good points, but I still think Floyd beats him.

He didn't. He went 63-0-0 before his first loss. He was in a major plane crash that ended his prime early. After the crash, he wasn't supposed to even be able to walk, but 6 months later he was fighting again and won over 100 more fights. He ended up with only a 4% loss percentage.

You can only watch a handful of Pep fights all in terrible quality, how the hell anyone can come to any proper conclusion on how good he actually was is beyond me.

News reports, the bits of an older Pep where it's black and white film, but still not terrible quality. Also all of the people that were around back in those days. There are plenty of other ways of figuring out how great someone was besides watching them in high def and great pictures/media exposure.

Try watching ESPN classics, ive seen losts of Pep fights on there and the quality is just as good as the Robinson and Louis fights.

Easily watchable but black and white.

I agree, they are easy to watch, just recently ESPN classics have only shown Holyfield, Ali, Tyson (greatest hits and Douglas), and Whitaker. If I see Ali-Foreman one more time...
