the american fans got there first glimpse of amir tonight, this kid is a future champion in mutiple weight classes.

i think we can put to rest the claims that floyd is the fastest boxer, amir is a zillion times faster and hits harder. andre berto and amir is a fight i look forward to in the future. both these guy will end up as middleweights imo.

Great chap. I still think Warren lined up a horribly lopsided match, but Amir still showed off his excellent skills.

Ill admit, that he does look the business. However, I couldnt really evalutae him well enough with the opponent they matched him up against. That guy flat out DIDNT come to fight. Would have been nice to see a slightly higher level of opposition. I dont think hes ready for Berto or any of the top level fighters yet, but with time and continued training, he could be a very nice fighter. Too early to tell for me though, until I see him against a real boxer.

I personally think he would beat anyone in Britian at the moment, but the world is another matter. Needs a few more fights under his belt and some that are abit more challenging before we think hes a world beater. Remember Prince Naseem, spoonfed easy fights all his career then as soon as he was giving a challenge in Barrera he was easily beaten... the same could happen to Khan if he gets used to cruising along fighting nobodies, he needs to be challenged!
