Unbeaten WBC #1 welterweight Andre Berto (21-0, 18 KOs) outclassed former European titleholder Michael Trabant (43-3-1, 19 KOs), winning a one-sided sixth round TKO. Berto dominated Trabant from round one, landing at a very high rate. The outgunned Trabant tried to establish his jab but mostly offered little resistance. The fight was stopped after round six.

Adds something decent to the Williams card, why couldnt this just be on the Taylor-Pavlik undercard though.. would be much better IMO.
including berto on the williams/quintana card is probably because he's a up an coming welter, and some consider williams to be the same despite holding a major belt.
lol yeh, that doesnt make sense. Hes easily the 3rd/4th best Welter out there (you could assume Mosley to be ahead, i don't personally).
Trabant lost to Klose in 2004 but has won his last 5 fights other than a Draw and n/c. I look for Berto to come out blazing but only win a decision. Trabant has only been down twice and is 43-2-1. He's an old vet, so I think he will last.
being an old vet could also means he's ready to get tko'd or put down multiple times. of course it all depends on how much he has left in the tank.
I Agree This Would Have Been A Major Undercard If It Were On The Taylor-Pavlik Rematch But With That Said It Would Be A Bad Business Move If You Think About It The Best Division In Boxing Is The Welterweight Division And With Andre Berto And Paul Williams Fighting On The Same Card Its Gunna Be A Great Night For Boxing They're Both Very Offensive And Stay Pretty Busy So They'll Provide A Spark But Can They Sell Themselves Is The Question And After The First Fight Pavlik-Taylor Wont NEed Any Hype At All The Question Is With Taylor Though He Cant Seem To Sell Himself This Is His Third PPV Event And Second As The Challenger Does He Really Have A Shot Agaisnt Pavlik Though? Im One Of The Fans Who Thought the Fight Should Have Been Stopped In The Second But After That Taylor Was Completely Out Jabbed And Ultimatley Out Boxed It Was A For-Gon Conclusion For Him

I See this Fight Going To The Cards As Taylor Trys To Save Energy And Box It Out Or A Late Stoppage By Pavlik Due To Taylors Leaky Defense Taylors Got A Shot But Only On Cuts

Why do 90% of the words you write with a capital letter? Because you write in good English, anyway i was just wondering. I think Berto will win a decision.
i can't wait for berto to clean out the division
Haha I would love to see the same, and IM a huge fan of berto but with cotto and mayweather still around, he wont clean out the division. But once their gone, he has high hopes at 147, very high hopes.
Thats how I see it as well.
Not seen much off Trabant but think Berto will add another win to his record in a good fight.

Berto reminds me of a young Azumah Nelson and if he adds Nelsons ring smarts to his style he'll be a World Champion no doubt.
I see him winning but not by ko.
I'm not sold on Berto. I think he is overrated and will never be the top dog at 147.
We'll have to disagree there shane.
Oh my God is the 2 Presidents of the Floyd Fondation having a disagreement on Floyd so called sucesser. LMFAO

Yeah we are. I just don't think Berto will ever be able to beat Cotto or Williams. Judah would starch him too right now. Margarito would also. Mosley would too. Don't get me started on what Floyd would do to him. Cintron would probably beat him and Cintron sucks. He has great offense, but his defense worries me. I'd love to see him be great, but I haven't seen it in him yet.
