WBA #3 Sam Soliman and WBA #1 Anthony Mundine will clash on March 7 to determine who will hold the WBA super middleweight championship at the Sydney Entertainment Center, Sydney, NSW Australia. Soliman's trainer Dave Hedgecock is not only confident of victory for his charge but is predicting "The Man" will finish on his stool. "I think Australian boxing is in for a big change and on March 7 they are going to see a new Sam Soliman," said Hedgecock. "Sam Soliman is hitting a lot harder also and this will show against Mundine. I think we will stop him. I do not think Anthony will answer the bell for round twelve. Somewhere around round nine, ten, eleven or twelve – he will not get off his stool to answer the bell."

The Truth about Anthony "The Man" Mundine.

He is a good athlete

He is fit

He is kind of strong

He talks too much

He is the master of self promotion

He is more ass than class

He is overrated

A large majority of the boxers he has taken on and beaten were either bums, club level fighters or past their prime ex-champions who were kidding themselves... for example... Lester Ellis... a SUPER FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPION... he comes out of retirement several years later to fight as a SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT... what was he thinking?

Also... Mundine has yet to take on a REALLY GOOD OPPONENT... has he come anywhere near the likes of Joe Calzaghe, Jeff Lacy or anybody else like that? NO!!! He has not... and sure... Sven Ottke beat him... and he was undefeated in the end... but I don't care much for Sven Ottke... but Mundine couldn't beat him... so that tells you something! As for that time Mundine won a World Championship... the title was vacated... and he won it from a guy who just came off of a court date and hardly had any preparation for the fight... but still went 12 Rounds and lost by Unanimous Decision!!!

I cannot believe Anthony Mundine mentioned Winky Wright as a possible future opponent... THAT'LL NEVER EVER HAPPEN... AND HE IS NOWHERE NEAR IN THE LIKES OF WINKY WRIGHT'S LEAGUE! HE IS KIDDING HIMSELF!!!

As for that so-called "BIG WIN" over Danny Green that silenced critics... BULL****... Danny Green isn't that good either... his career has been no different to that of Anthony Mundine's... only he hasn't taken part in shameless self promotion... and isn't an asshole like Mundine... THAT'S WHY WE LIKE HIM MORE... he is a nice guy... and I hope he improves dramatically... becomes an overall better fighter... one of the best in the World... and gets to face all of the great current Light Heavyweight Champions... but... at this moment... like Mundine... he ain't that good a boxer and hasn't really proven anything against anyone... BOXING IN AUSTRALIA IS DEAD!!!

Funny... how the greatest boxer to ever represent Australia in the last decade or so... lived in Russia for the first 20 or so years of his life!

I like Sam Soliman... he is a nice guy... I hope he beats Anthony Mundine... PLEASE!

One more thing... how and why is Mundine ranked so highly? I know his camp plays a role in promoting him and getting him somewhere... nobody should deny that!

MUNDINE IS A NOBODY... HE SHOULD WAKE UP FROM HIS DREAM AND REALISE IT... or does somebody have to knock the living **** out of him just so that they can get the message through?

Reply: He proved otherwise in his fight against Danny Green. All the rounds went to him unanamousily except for maybe round 1. Danny could't land one big punch on him. Anthony made Danny look childishly foolish with all those missed punches, whereas, "the Man" made a punching bag out of "the machine". His attack skills, counter-attack skills, and evasion skills clearly proved too much for Danny. 'The Machine' didn't have any answer whatsoever. The explosive 7 hit combo he landed on Green in the 12th round was like a fatality move of Mortal Kombat. I don't call that ass, I call it class. Even Kostya Tszyu in his commentary throughout the fight admired Anthony's 'eloquence'.

It hurts me... because Mundine is a horrible human being... I respect Mike Tyson and everything that he has gone through a whole lot more than Anthony Mundine.

This proves that Mundine is a good boxer... AMONGST THE AUSTRALIAN SCENE!

When you look at The Australian Scene... besides that really great Flyweight Champion that put Vitor Burgos into brain surgery the other night... you've got ex-mob legbreakers, ex-kickboxers and ex-rugby leage playing thugs in the heavyweight division... who can't even really box... nor brawl!!!

You see... brawling is still boxing... there are still boxing moves... these ex-rugby league players in the heavyweight division such as John "I stick my finger up people's bums" Hopoate JUST THROW THEIR WEIGHT AROUND AND THAT'S IT!!!

Everybody in Australia will crap on about how good these guys are... PUT THEM ON THE WORLD STAGE AT CAESAR'S PALACE AGAINST SOME "REAL BOXERS" AND THEY'LL VE A LAUGHING STOCK!!!

Mundine's win proves he is a good boxer through the eyes of The Australian Boxing Scene... which isn't really much nowadays!

Let's see him try his luck amongst some "REAL FIGHTERS" (Mind you... I did say that Danny Green and Sam Soliman were overrated boxers as well... and that Mundine is still yet to take on anybody who is really legit)!

Soliman should've stuck to kickboxing. Kickboxing is very different from boxing. Also... he had way too much muslce on his body adn thus lacked the stamina of Mundine. Mind you... both are overrated... I know I keep saying that... but I just want to get my point through that most of The Australian Boxing Scene REALLY SUCKS!

Mundine is The Man

Before Mundine's fight with Green, Mundine's critics thought that Green is the best, that he will kick Mundine's butt, that he will knock him out etc. etc. But after the fight their comments (regarding Green) were of the sort: 'He wasn't that good anyway', 'He was overrated', 'He lived in Russia for 20 years' etc.

Now after Mundine eloquently, stylishly and humiliatingly deafeated Soliman with a knock out (Soliman had not been knocked out by anyone before), the critics of Mundine who insisted, before the fight, that Mundine has no chance, Soliman will kill him, blah blah blah - these same critics are now saying of Soliman : 'He was overrated' 'He wasn't that good anyway', 'He is an Egyptian, not an Aussie" etc. etc.

Now my point is this to the critics of Mundine: Shut your big mouths. Mundine has done the talking with his fists not his mouth. He has replied to the comments of Soliman, Green etc with his fists. He knocked out a guy that noone knocked out before. Soliman as well as Green didn't land even ONE big blow on Mundine. Mundines attack, counter attack and defensive skills proved too much for Soliman (and Green and others). He is too fast for his opponents. Now if you go on to say that he has no hope in the international rings then you better think again. What explanations will you have to offer, when he defeats all and becomes the world champion, except, that, He is too good. Accept this now before you have to humiliate yourself just like Green and Soliman humiliated themselves (and Mundines critics). What do you have left to say about Mundine now after his win over Soliman except fallacy and conjecture - or the truth: that he is really 'THE MAN' of boxing.

For all those people who think Mundine is good... COME ON!!! He beat Green and Soliman... BIG DEAL... those fights were in Australia... THEY'RE BIG TO AUSTRALIA... but what about the rest of the world? Sam Soliman was too much of a Kickboxer to be a Boxer... his stance was all wrong and his punches all unortodox IN A BAD WAY... and sure... he took Winky Wright to 12 Rounds... BUT HE STILL LOST BY UNANIMOUS DECISION! Mundine has not got a chance against THE REAL WORLD OF BOXING... not the other bums he fights in AUSTRALIA and that "so-called boxing scene"... when he goes against Calzaghe... IF HE DOES... he'll be dead meat! Kessler will kill him... and if he even thinks about going to Middleweight and taking on Wright or... to a lesser extent Taylor... he'll lose those as well! He'll lose all of these fights by either KO (if he wants to get too close) or Unanimous Decision (if he wants to play safe and back away)! END OF STORY... Mundine fans... you're in a DREAM WORLD that the Australian Boxing Scene has presented to you... put him against "REAL WORLD CLASS FIGHTERS"... and he'll be a laughing stock... I guarantee it!
