Anyways... I HATE HIM!!!
He was an ex-Rugby League Player... and in my neck of the woods in Australia... we don't really care much for Rugby League. In my neck of the woods... AFL is our game... and although I barrack for Carlton and have been a fan from the day I was born... the egotism and stupid behaviour of these "CASHED UP BOGANS" from both the AFL and NRL (Rugby League) DISGUSTS ME... AND I HATE THEM!
If there's a code of football in Australia that I like... it's Rugby Union... the game that they plan in heaven.
Back to "The Man"... who is more like "The Mouth".
Anthony "The Man" Mundine is the son of Tony Mundine... a once great Australia Boxer. Anthony Mundine was a great Rugby League player and I will give him the following... good things to say about him...
He took up Professional Boxing in 2000... without an Amateur Bouts at all whatsoever!!!
Since then... he has become the master of shameless self promotion with spots on Music Video Clips, doing a rap duet with Australian Beatboxer Joel Turner, Appeared on Australia's Version of Celebrity Big Brother and guest appearances of TV Shows and so on and so forth...
As for his boxing... there's nothing really special about him!
YES HE IS QUICK AND FIT AND ALL... but... he thinks he is so good!
ANTHONY MUNDINE IS KIDDING HIMSELF WHEN HE THINKS OF HIMSELF AS GREAT... COMPARING HIMSELF TO WINKY WRIGHT AND ALL OF THOSE GUYS... HE EVEN MENTIONED JERMAIN TAYLOR AS A POSSIBLE OPPONENT!
Mundine is ranked highly by the boxing sanctions... but he is not in their league! I say again... HE IS NOT IN THEIR LEAGUE!!!
He could go the distance... but he wouldn't win! He would just try and not get knocked out and simply lose on points decision!
A large majority of Anthony Mundine's wins have been against subpar opponents, past their prime opponents and nobodies!
He won The WBA Super Middleweight Crown... which was vacated beforehand... against a fighter who had just come off a court date... and after once defence against a nobody... he lost it to Manny Siaco on Points Decision... who isn't really "THAT BIG A BOXER"...
Down in Australia... there was this huge hype over a war or words and eventual bout between Mundine and a guy called Danny Green... not that I cared! I wanted Green... because he was nicer... but Mundine did!
It was a mediocre fight from two guys who are overrated, over-hyped and over-talked about... I really didn't care!!!
Mundine talks himself up like crazy and is always insulting everyone... and they're not smart and witty insults like MUHAMMAD ALI... they're stupid insults!
He called fellow Australian Boxer Sam Soliman (who he is going to fight in March) A PROSTITUTE!
I RESPECT MIKE TYSON MORE THAN ANTHONY "THE MAN" MUNDINE!!!
Mundine is a nobody... he can talk all he wants... he has had 6 years of Pro Boxing Experience and he hasn't really set the world in fire! He is getting very old very quickly as well! He is not in the league of the real stars of boxing!
You may notice that Roy Jones Jr. said nice things about Anthony "The Man" Mundine... I find that very hard to believe!!!
One more thing... the following 3 boxers... although I like more than Anthony Mundine (and are also Australia)... are also nobodies and might have some success... but really... they'll amount to very little in spite of their sporting/martial arts background and fitness and healthy and athleticism and so on and so forth you know what I mean!!!

(Paul "The Hurricane" Briggs was born in New Zealand and I will admit... is the best of the bunch with his record, acclaim and ability... but I still consider him nothing!!!)
Funny how a lot of Australian boxers nowadays come from Martial Arts backgrounds... yet don't really get "that" far... I wonder why? They didn't originally have that "REAL BOXING KNOW-HOW" or something like that? Can somebody help me with that...
