I've recently been shown two different ways to pivot in my boxing lessons. One guy said the left foot stays put, and only the right foot pivots inward.

Another guy said that BOTH feet pivot with the weave. In otherwords, if I'm weaving to the left, he showed me how both feet should turn to the left. Is that correct?

The first method with leaving the left foot flat, and only turning the right seemed better.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

The guy who told you to only pivot your right foot was right. That way you are still on balance.

Thanks. I had a feeling the 1st guy was right. And yes, it feels more balanced.

Obviously all of the guys training me are not on the same page. It irks me when someone shows me something, and the next time the trainer says, "who told you that?"

It's happened too many times, and now I avoid giving names to avoid starting something. They need to get their act together don't you think?

Thanks
