Is anyone who watched the Perez/Kirilov fight 5/6/06 as disgusted as I am?
Perez only clearly won one round; I had it scored 119-111 for Kirilov and the audience clearly agreed. This was a world championship belt and Kirilov was robbed. Europeans should be very reluctant to fight on this side of the pond, as Kirilov hinted in the post fight interview. What can be done about this despicable judging that we have been so accustomed to experiencing? Any suggestions out there? Anybody know how to email Teddy Atlas, Bernstein, Tessitori (sp?) or ANYBODY who might have enough grease to get some action going to stop this incompetent and/or corrupt judging? In no other sport would this be tolerated.

several months late but i agree that kirilov won the first 8 rounds. He got decked in the 9th and I thought he was still able to defend/aggress effectively. It was a crappy decision, Kirilov deserved it and the judges were to blame.

I didn't see the fight but I beleive you guys. Ever sence Don King got into the picture everyone started getting robbed, and notice those are the fights he is involved with. Like Holmes-Spinks 1 and 2, and Hopkins-Taylor 1 and 2.:dunno:
