Bautista vs Ponce De Leon ( this summer )

Should be one heck of a war, because both of these guys throw bombs and thats all they throw.

ive been impressed by rey but i think this fight has come to early for him, he's still only 20 and de leon is a very handy fighter.

de leon wins tko 9.

to me i was impressed more with bautista than de leon. He is way way way to wild for me and seems to not know the basics at all. Although he hits very hard and hopefully batista can get out of the way. Good fight though.

its a cracking fight.

id have let rey fight a few more top 10-15 guys for a year before pitching him in here, he's way to open and should work on his D a bit more, de leon at times can look mayorga esk but rey offers plenty to aim at right now.

obviosly rey has the speed and pop to end it to though.

Ponce De Leon will embarass Bautista in my opinion and Rey is one of my favorite young guys. He is too green and this is very much too early.

Yep and Ponce De Leon is no bum. He looked VERY good on the Barerra-Marquez card.

i thought he looked like crap on that card.

Bautista is no way ready for this fight. Medina was nothing special, and Rey had big problems with him. Hell the referee saved his ass when he was on the ropes in the middle rounds! I dont think Freddie Roach lets him take this fight, he has said before the Medina fight Bautista had an awful lot to learn. He isnt mature or disciplined enough to beat De Leon IMO.
