108 Roman Gonzalez vs. Ivan Calderon (classic boxer versus puncher)
112 Brian Viloria vs. Nonito Donaire
115 Fernando Montiel vs. Cristian Mijares (who doesn't want to see this fight?!)
122 Rafael Marquez vs. Juan Manuel Lopez (I think this would be awesome)
130 Edwin Valero vs. Jorge Linares (assuming Valero stays put and Linares moves up as expected)
135 Michael Katsidis vs. Juan Diaz (which is happening, thank goodness)
140 Ricardo Torres vs. Kendall Holt III (what could possibly happen next?)
147 Antonio Margarito vs. Paul Williams II (rematch has added intrigue)
154 James Kirkland vs. Joel Julio (clash of the power punchers)
160 Arthur Abraham vs. Kelly Pavlik (THE ONLY fight to be made in the middleweight division)
168 Jermain Taylor vs. Mikkel Kessler (very interesting)
175 Glen Johnson vs. Chad Dawson II (I just want some vindication for The Road Warrior)
200 Tomasz Adamek vs. Steve Cunningham (happening)
200+ I'm not even going to dignify this division with a choice

I left out strawweight since I don't even know anyone in that division.

After seeing Cesar Canchila on Saturday night's undercard, I wouldn't mind seeing him take on Calderon at junior flyweight.

I couldn't pick a good opponent for Gerry Penalosa at bantamweight.

I think most of the big names at featherweight are moving up, so I wouldn't mind seeing Santiago and Luevano have a rematch.

Well done NDN! I think Tarver vs. Dawson at 175 is equal to the one you have listed. And at Heavyweight Haye vs.Chgaev would be pretty interesting. I know this may sound retarded but I would love to see 6'8" Vitali Klitschko take on 7' Nicolai Valuev, and VT would blow him out and part of the heavyweight circus would be closed for good!

Hatton-Pacquiao at 140? :dunno:
If it came to fruition, most definitely, but right now the talk is centering more on De La Hoya/Pacquiao.

Great list Nate.
Thanks a lot bro.

Just one thats missing: Chris John x Robert Guerrero 127
I'd like that one too, but John doesn't leave Indonesia, and "THE OTHER GHOST" is moving up in weight supposedly.

Thanks man. I believe Tarver versus Dawson will be a good one. I'll be pulling for Tarver. Chagaev can't stay healthy, so who knows with him. And you're not alone in thinking of that meeting of the giants. I've thought it would be cool if Valuev, as carnival-esque as he is, could beat Klitschko. He could at least make him uncomfortable with that fur of his scratching and cutting Wlad when they clinch. Not to mention the fact that his huge caveman dome would make the constant threat of a clash of heads something else for Klitschko to be worried about.

I'd rather watch Ivan Calderon vs Ulises Solis.
112 Brian Viloria vs. Nonito Donaire
Narvaez vs Donaire makes more sense IMO
130 Edwin Valero vs. Jorge Linares (assuming Valero stays put and Linares moves up as expected)
Linares isn't moving up anytime soon (although he will given his frame) so a fight with Gamboa would be great now that Yuriorkis is back at 126.
135 Michael Katsidis vs. Juan Diaz (which is happening, thank goodness)
That's the ultimate brawl right there  I think Pac Marquez III would be the best fight in that division though.
140 Ricardo Torres vs. Kendall Holt III (what could possibly happen next?)
Very interesting fight but if Pac/Hatton is made it would be the only fight that counts at 140.
154 James Kirkland vs. Joel Julio (clash of the power punchers)
Julio would get smashed. He couldn't beat Ishe Smith convincingly. Angulo vs Kirkland now that's a real clash.
200+ I'm not even going to dignify this division with a choice
Haye/Klitschko would be interesting.

I couldn't pick a good opponent for Gerry Penalosa at bantamweight.
Hozumi Hasegawa is pretty good. He might beat Penalosa.
I agree with the rest of your matchups.

The only reason I wasn't going to go with Angulo is because there was no way in hell that Gary Shaw would let his two prized prospects go at it, ensuring that one would get his first loss, but I just remembered that Kirland left Shaw, so maybe that fight happens sooner than we could have reasonably expected.

I want Hatton/Katsidis at 140. That would be the most entertaining fight that can be made.

You're guaranteed a lot of cuts with that one and some serious plastic surgery expenses, so for those of us with a bloodthirst, that one's tough to beat.
