I don't think you can call Bradley, Berto, Lopez, or Valero "prospects" anymore since they hold major titles. Not to mention the fact that these guys all have at least twenty pro fights under their respective belts.

True, but they are all under 25, with the exception of solis, who is 28, but has only been boxing for 2 years.

The name AJ Banal is making a big buzz right now in the Philippines. Some say he'll be the next Pacquio. The next typhoon who will cross the pacific. He's got skills and power on both hands.

I agree. No way those guys are prospects any more
thats the thing, in boxing 2 years is a lot and they may be fighting up to 8-12 people. once someone reaches 20 pro fights i like to compare them to the world champ level. some take longer but the majority of great fighters will have done something of recognition by 20 fights.

Agreed, Vanes is one of the bright prospects right now. What do you guys think of this this guy. Rashad Holloway 8(4ko)-1(loss)Although he has only one blemish on his record, he looks to be very promising. Here is a video of him sparring with Alfredo Angulo:
