Sportsbook William Hill has already established Joe Calzaghe as a favorite to beat any of his next three possible opponents. Odds are 4:1 that Joe beats Clinton Woods, 13:8 that he tops ring legend Bernard Hopkins and 2:1 that he wins a rematch with Mikkel Kessler. "Joe might decide that an all British clash against light heavyweight champ Woods is his best option, but it would be great to see him in a Vegas superfight against an acknoweldged all-time great like Hopkins, while a repeat of the excellent contest he and Kessler served up would also be an intriguing proposition" said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

that's why the first thing hopkins would do is to not allow him to stay on the outside. he's the master of taking away his opponents advantages;)
I dont believe Hopkins has the tools to tame Calzaghe anymore, both in their primes it would be close, but i think Calzaghe wins this fight clearly based on speed, workrate and stamina. When was the last time Hopkins faced a fighter that can and will throw 100 punches a round for 12 rounds?

If this fight comes off Calzaghe vs Hopkins,Calzaghe wins. Many boxers have ducked Calzaghe,i think your see why in his last fight.Calzaghe is one of the best p4p boxers in the world, maybe the best atm?.Hopkins i like as a boxer, but joe is some-thing else.Hatton is very good from this side of the water, but for me Calzaghe is better no1.

I'll be highly disappointed if Calzaghe fights anyone apart from Hopkins in his next fight. I'd love to see him fight at least once in America, and fight a big name at that.

I don't think he'd have much to gain from fighting Clinton Woods, apart from the title of course. I think it's nearly time Woods called it a day. He was a guest analyst for the Calzaghe/Kessler fight and his speech was slowed and slightly slurred.

Calzaghe deserves to fight the best there is available.

Exactly. Calzaghe is simply too busy for B-Hop. I see a clear victory for Calzaghe. Not a landslide by any mean but a clear win.
