Does anyone here put some real money on any of the fights we all love? I think I can guess the winner before the fight a fair share of times and it might be profitable to place a strategic bet or two.

Anyone have a respectable website where they have placed bets?

I have used sportsbook.com

Just remember because you pick the correct winner doesnt mean you get back much money. The odds are usually bad to bet on favs. You can also bet on the over or under. It seems easy but not always profitable.

I use the same odds for the VBookie on here.

Betting on which rounds it will last too, how the person will win etc wil be more profitable than backing someone. Odds are krap on favourites, Calzaghe against Lacy was the best though he Joe reached 5/1 at one point:laugh:

Cool sportsbook is one of the places i've been looking at. I think I understand how the betting on here works after reading a little on their website. You have to bet more to win more on a favorite. I tend not to bet on a favorite anyway if his odds of winning are too great or else you're just wasting your time.

I think Briggs can pull off a win against Ibragimov. I'm not certain but this is the fight I see a possibility of some money to be made. They have briggs listed as the underdog so every 100 you bet you win an additional 175. If briggs can knock him out before he starts sucking wind he has a chance.

All the other fights are too lopsided or I'm just too unsure to place a bet. This bet to me has the best posibillity of happening and the most money to be won.

Just a few notes.

I have recieved a check from them so I would say its safe to use.

Minumum bet on sports is $5.

You can bet parlays on the fights as well.

Like you where saying think of it as what you need to win a $1 or $100.
If a fav is -135
You would need to bet $1.35 to win a dollar or $135 to win $100.
If he is + 135 that is what you win for betting. If u bet a $1 you win $1.35 & if u bet $100 you win $135.

I wish the Oscar/Floyd line was set up by members here! I would definately bet on it if Floyd was the certain underdog.

I do like the Briggs odds. The Jose Luis Castillo odds look enticing as well. Hopkins/Wright are dead even :(
