Pacman Ko'd Solis in round 8.

Arce was handled clearly by Mijares.

J.C. Chavez Jr. Ko'd Shuler in round 2 i believe. Too many beers.

Soto beat Vilorio by a close decision.

I was suprised to see Chavez do what he did but the other guy wasn't that great.

Manny was Manny after the headbut that cut his eye. Overall great night and I hope you all saw it go down.:thumbsup:

Poster boy I have been with you this whole time I still have a tough time accepting pac man but to give him his due he is a tough guy and have been taking on everyone I still think marquez will handle him and his defense seemed worst in this fight then the last one I saw him in also as I see it he seem to have reached his biggest size any move up in weight will get him beaten down the shear size of solis was a problem for him he even mentioned it during the interview and someone with power at #135 would have put some hurt on him early Solis landed clean shots. I like to see him take on Marquez,Juarez,Diaz any of them or at #135 Casamayor or the freitas diaz winner.

jmm is the only guy i see having a chance against pac, jmm has the countering ability that causes pac problems we seen it in the first fight.

I am not a big fan either. His style is too much like Roberto Duran's IMO. I loved Duran but Manny's style is just about identical. I do however love that he has power and knocks dudes around. I still think Barerra is better than Marquez but I think with either two of them vs. Manny it would be a toss up.

Now, after watching Manny again I can NOT figure out why so many people are calling for him to be #1 P4P. You can say anything to me but nothing will change my mind. I would put Calzaghe, Winky, and maybe even Mosley above him.

One observation if I may Duran in my book had more weapons and more skill . Pac man will beat you with a straight left or a straight right very seldom does he use the hooks if you have a good chin and skill he is an easy guy to beat!! and Tommy to qualify what you stated yea he has ben in there with better named guys but most at the end of their boxing life. Marquez the only exeption and Marquez schooled his ass all of 11 rounds

marco is still in his prime when pac demolished him.. he beat a number of quality guys after that.. and if not because of the mysterious scoring in vegas, he could have won agaisnt marquez..

after erik and marco fought the first time they were never going to be the same after that, both guys left everything in the ring that night.

i like pac and i give him props for the wins because although neither marco or erik were primed they were still both live bodys, but marco and erik were diffrent class primed though.

I bet marquez when he fought pac.how was that fight a draw? you would have to give jmm 8 rounds of that fight for him to win 113-112.if you give jmm 7 rounds he looses.one judge had it 115-110 for jmm.thats means he gave pac the first round and only one more the whole fight.only one more! letterman had it 7-5 pac.then the guy who had it a draw gave marquez 7 rounds but didnt score the fight 10-6 in the first round.of course it was 10-6.a point for each knockdown.i remember screaming yes its a draw!
how did one judges only think pac won 2 rounds? the only way for it be a draw is by having marquez winning 7-5 and scoring the first round 10-7.
One of the 3 judges, Burt Clemens acknowledge he had misunderstood a Nevada scoring doctrine that should have mandated him to score the 1st round with its 3 Pacquiao knockdowns to Marquez 10 to 6 for the Pacman. Instead, Clemens scored a 10-7 for that round,.. gave Marquez a critical point he needed to ultimately secure a draw. Manny CLEARLY won that fight. And to those people who think JMM took Pac to school, well.. it's either they don't know their boxing or they're just simply ignorant. Manny has NEVER won a decision in the U.S. Maybe that's the reason why he has to win by KO or TKO. That's a good motivation for him.
