I could use some advice. I have never boxed before but am in great shape. I run a lot and do a lot of body weight excercises. I am bored with running and I am interested in boxing for cardio fitness (heavy bag, speed bag, jump rope, etc). Is this all I need to get started?
I have a garage and plenty of room. Should I buy a separate heavy bag or can I buy a combo heavy bag, speed bag on a pedestal? Can you recommend good equipment? I also do not want to learn bad habits. Is there a great book out there that teaches you form?
