I dont see how you can say either guy CLEARLY won. I thought a draw was coming about half way through the fight.

I scored it for Marquez 115-112 but can see a win by a few points either way.

I was very surprised by the one judge only giving 2 rounds to Barrera. If any fighter woulda had the judges on thier side I woulda thought Golden boys fighter would.

I have never liked Jay nady & tonight we saw again that he is way overated.
He is not even in the top 5 refs in Nevada.

Marquez is also part of golden boy so that would not have any effect on the outcome. I had Marquez winning also, but not by 8 rounds. but as some have stated many rounds were close, and could have gone either way. it would be a totally different fight if you watched it without the volume on. Lampely was all about barrera sat. night. dont get me wrong, he could have won the fight too. either way, it was a damn good fight and i'm glad i shelled out the 50 bucks to watch!!!! i would pay to see a rematch also.

I do not understand how so many people including every one of the commentators were baffled at the horrible scoring and nothing is done about it. Is there no justice that goes along with something like this? I may sound crazy but if 99 percent of fight fans saw this fight at around a 2 or 3 round decision/draw how can BOXING let this bullshat judging keep happening. They can't just turn a cold shoulder at 3 people doing the opposite of what their job is meant to be.

From all the treads that I read, most had Marquez winning also. And some of them were there for the fight. I personally would not have disagreed if they had MAB winning. If the knockdown was counted them it would have been a little closer. (big mistake on the ref) The only problem I had was 118-110. To me it was closer but I believe the right man won.

I had it 3 to 1 for MAB. Then Marquez taking over from there.

Jim Lampley was all over Barreras nuts that night. It was a great fight so call the thing fair. If you watch it again listen how many times he talks about barrera compared to marquez. I like both fighters and I thought he was favoring mab. Id like to watch a rematch or marquez vs. pacman. either one is worth watching.

I like to wait a day or two so the fight and my decision is not fresh in my mind. Most the rds come out the same but one or two my change.

Can't base the winner of the fight on the way someone looks. Marquez was eating MAB's body up. Some guys faces cut easier then others and again it does not tell what happen to the body. I would love to see a video of MAB rolling out of bed the next morning!!

Is the rematch in the works or is MAB still thinking things over? I'll take Marquez vs MAB or Pacman!
