All I keep hearing about when it comes to Holyfield is that his slurring of speech gets continually worse with time.

I don't know any non-boxers at 44 that slur like that. I know plenty of eighty-year-old alcoholics with medical problems that slur in that manner, when they talk, but not "healthy" 44 year olds...

Good for him that he is fit, and in shape to participate in the sport he loves. Will he beat any of the beltholders right now? Briggs, maybe. But Briggs hits harder, and if Holyfield complains about Oquendo running away from him, then Briggs will stand and trade, since he doesn't like to move too much.

yeah he's briggs mando but if holyfeild and briggs want to fight they can pay ibragimov step aside money so they can get it on, then ibragimov will face the winner if he doesn't get a shot elsewhere first.

they do say the last thing a fighter loses is his power so theres always a chance, i think evander has a great chin so that could bring briggs stamina probs into it, i actualy think evander has a real chance against briggs or even maskaev who i think is the weakest of todays strap holders.

Yeah Ibragimov vs Austin was an eliminator. Since that fight was a draw Ibragimov automatically get a title shot. :thumbsdown:

yeah but it still looks beter than a lot of ranked fighters, vander proved last night that he can do the 12 rounds which i thought were past him so theres always a chance, its would be a great story if he pulled it off.
