Can I box although I wear glasses?

You can, you will be at a slight disadvantage because you won't see the punches coming as clearly.

Im not sure. I've never worn contacts before. But if I have to I will. I'll do anything.

You probably can. I'd say stay away from the contacts. You wouldn't want to lose one after a punch to the face. It's not like you will have to read the text on your opponent's shorts. Obviously, if one of your eyes is worse than the other, than it could be a problem, as opposed to both eyes being a little bad.

Have you tried getting a second opinion from another doctor...? There are many options for surgery available today.

My brother was in the golden gloves with contacts.

Has was very very good defensive type fighter and had no problems


But after a few fights the doctor picked it up at physical and did not allow him to fight anymore.

He is a few steps from being legally blind with out his contacts

Would I recommend it? NO
But if it will help you fulfill something within your self go for it and I wish you the best of luck.
