I would like to be the first to say good job for being elected to the 2008 boxing hall of fame. larry holmes The Easton Assasin on June 8th will be enshrined into the Hall Of Fame. No matter your feelings toward Larry (I'm not a fan) he is deserving of this honor and all the best to the former Heavyweight champion.:thumbsup: :thumbsup:

On Monday he was partying. He wasn't even in the gym on Tuesday or Wednsday. I'm most likely going to go to the HOF to see the other guys, I will most likely get my congratz in to Larry on this comming Monday.

What took so long?

The 5 calender year rule. He fought Butterbean on July 27, 2002. He would have had to fought him any time before June 1, 2002 to be inducted in the 2007 class. If he never fought Butterbean he would have been in the 2006 class.
