Could The Golden Boy Oscar De La Hoya compete @ Super Middleweight/Light Heavyweight?

Let's just say that Oscar De La Hoya beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. in due time (AND I CERTAINLY DO HOPE THAT HE DOES)! At 34... I reckon he is still going strong... and at 5 foot 10 and a half inches tall... I reckon he is big enough... and has enough punching power... to compete in both The Super Middleweight Division and The Light Heavyweight Division. He is already the first and only man to win 6 Different Weight Class World Championship... the most won ever... why not go for 2 more... does he have anything to lose? Dignity? Respect? Has there ever be talk about the possibility of competing in these 2 different weight divisions? That's what I'd love to know! ALSO... what would you say was the weight division that Oscar De La Hoya was at his absolute very best at? I say Light Middleweight... which is whay I reckon Floyd Mayweather Jr. is in a lot of trouble... and also why I am pissed off that he never got to face Winky Wright!

has enough punching power.
He's not a very strong puncher.

I reckon he is big enough
No he is not big enough. Although he is tall enough, Oscars build is too small for higher weight classes such as those.

I am pissed off that he never got to face Winky Wright!
He would lose to Winky so be happy he has never fought him.

Btw Oscar is my favorite fighter.

Okay... the cold hard truth coming from an Oscar De La Hoya fan. I always fought his punching was his key asset... he wasn't a Brawler... I just heard that he was more textbook than anything. What's Oscar's key to winning a big fight? In there no chance in hell... ever... no possibility at all whatsoever of him ever competing in The Super Middleweight and Light Heavyweight Divisions at all whatsoever???
Why dont we just wait and see what happens with maywether, before making him a heavy weight,he might get embarresed and never fight again ,he,ll be so damm rich he could hire someone to flick the remote for him
I am so sure of Oscar De La Hoya beating Floyd Mayweather Jr.... I'd probably put my account here at The Boxing Forum on the line!
no way could oscar fight at super middle and obviously couldnt fight at light heavy. He couldnt handle middle let alone anything heavier
Both of his fights at middle weight were Hell for Oscar. No way he fights higher than 154. As for Winky. I think that Oscar would beat him, but Winky will fight Floyd first. Because after Oscar beats Floyd, Winky will be P4P the king. Until B-Hop beats him. And both Winky and Floyd win need a huge fight to get back on top. That fight will be at 154 Mayweather vs Wright late November.

if floyd beats oscar convincingly leaving no need for a rematch i have a sneaky feeling it will be mosley next. both fighters have strongly stated they would like to fight each other.
IF and only IF Floyd fights again and if he does beat Oscar he would fight Shane. I see a DLH rematch being more of a possibility unless Floyd just dominates.
I ,say there,ll be a rematch regardless who wins there is just too much money making pottential, this guys are'nt dumb ,at least Oscar isn't,they'll put on a good show and make trilogy out of it
