your obviously biased, i had it 9 rounds to 3 for mayweather. You jsut cant score pitty patty against the ropes. I thought besides delahoya one flurry per round, floyd one every second. I loved the rally at the end and i thought mayweather hurt delahoya 3 times. One time big to the body. Floyd deserves this, very good fight though. To bad he will never get credit, people are to into the OH and floyd sr is just stirring things up, he is so confused as it is.

I dont think they give draw rounds anymore.. always a winner of a round :D... And if u have a 1 round difference it cant be that of a robbery?

I mean 1 + or - isnt a robbery its just how the judges saw it... if i saw the fight right Floyd prob connected with more and threw more.

i didn't feel floyd did enough to take the title here, you could argue with the result but
oscar pushed and made the fight IMO, floyd in flashes looked unbelievable but he didn't do it enough
certinly not to enough to take the belt. roth and giampa. hmmmm

Oscar did not land many clean solid punches throughout this fight. Floyd displayed better defense, better movement, and far superior accuracy. He landed the better quality shots for sure, especially his straight right.
Oscar gave a great effort, but just didnt have enough in the tank in the second half of the fight. He abandoned his jab, and was too inactive which ended up being his demise. The scoring was only suspect from one judge. 115-113 for Oscar didnt seem accurate.

yeah all 3 espn judges had it 8-4 mayweather and 1 had it 7 to 5, i had it 9 -3. I dont think oscar did anything all time except throw on little flurry all round and no punch connected. I thought floyd did more than enough to win the title. I was so glad they didnt rob him. I thought mayweather stood in there like a man and fought with him, he slapped him, oscar didnt slap back.

the comentry team from the uk heard the u.s guys had floyd well up (about 4 rounds) at the half way point or just over, i feel a lot of guys can be influenced by this. im not saying you were captain but i just dont see how you could score it for floyd.

thats what makes our sport so great though, rarely do you get the same opinion from everybody.

single punches impress you?

floyd done very little apart from that, he got owned the first half of the fight, came strong the second and lost the fight in the last round imo.

close Fight But...

I gave it to oscar by 1 round, even though his punches didnt hurt floyd much he threw more and his jam was effective but did not use it enough.oscar did a great job blocking all most all of floyds punches with his gloves.Oscar did better than most expected, worth a rematch!!

yeah, and i saw floyd hurt oscar to the body and the head twice. OScar did block alot of punches, but i never saw floyd get hit with a punch other than the jab 3 times. floyd ducked all the punches and caught all the rest on his shoulders and everything else, if floyd wanted to, he could of stayed in the middle of the ring all night, It was up to him to let delahoya take him to the ropes, and obviously the fans enflueneced the jduges.. no online website gave the fight to oscar. everyone has it for floyd.

Hello all,Tommy Gunn and Dash are the only ones that I see watched the same fight I did.How the heck can you win a championship of the world fighting the way Floyd jr. fought?I mean I have heard of great fighters such as Willie Pep,but from what I saw tonight Floyd jr. is no Willie Pep.I think Floyd lost to many rounds from inactivity and then was hit enough by Oscar in 7 rounds of the 12 to lose the decision.I mean come on a Championship
fighting like that?Floyd is super fast and is a good defensive boxer but I wasn't impressed at all! He's worse then Pernell Whitaker when it comes to Offense.
One more thing,I wasn't lucky enough to be at the fight live but Floyd's Father was, and he himself said Oscar won.
I think the judgesand alot of other people are trying to retire the old money maker for boxing(Oscar) and trying to pass the torch to the most viable candidate to take his place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Did anyone hear this after the fight,"Bull****,Bull****,Bull****,Bull****"?

Has there been any hint of a possible rematch between the 2 ever since the fight ended? "REMATCH???"

you guys are kidding right? the only times oscar hit him to the body , was in a clench and never did any damage, i saw oscar's hole body fold in the 10th round i believe when floyd hit in with a jab to the body. Floyd always smiles in his fights, I dont htink he was ever hurt. In most cases a smile means your hurt but that smile was a smile of , man you cant hurt me. I never saw mayweather hurt or discourged, on the other hand, i saw pain and discouragement in oscar. Oh well, floyd won, and you guys cant change that, have your oppinion, we cant all agree. But i was right, all along. Dont hate.

werent you going to leave if you were wrong? ok so then whats oscar? if floyd is very good, oscar is average? even if you had floyd winning 5 of the 12 rounds and 1 even, that could of easily been 6 to 6 , which means he did just as much as oscar( so would you say they are both equally good and just good ) i happen to think floyd won pretty convincingly, and i think they both are great. Great for boxing, the best man won.
