Julius Francis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
He was an ex-football (or soccer) hooligan turned Boxer at the relatively late age of 28 when he became a Pro. This Black Brit has a fat pody gut... where most opponents would target... and all he had was power. Not much fitness... not much stamina... not much of anything... and as with a lot of Pro Fighters who start out their careers... they get shots (and probably win) meaningless titles like British Commonwealth Titles and so on and so forth. To think that this guy could actually have had a shot at a World Championship? He did beat Danny Williams (somehow)... but lost to him in a rematch. Most of us best know him for his destruction at the hands of Mike Tyson in just 2 Rounds back in January of 2000. He kept punching that soft and podgy weak belly of his... knocking Francis down 5 times in just 2 Rounds. It was like a walk in the park. At one stage... Julius Franis could've retired with a record of 23 Wins and 10 Losses... which would've been ok... sort of. Like an idiot... he kept fighting... and lost his next 14 in a row. He ended up with a record of 23 wins adn 24 losses... THAT'S MORE LOSSES THAN WINS!!! What the hell? What a loser!
What's your overall opinion of Julius Francis?
