It has been reported to boxingtalk.com that diego corrales had died from a motorcycle accident earlier today. RIP CHICO. Yes, this is true. Im sorry for bring in another boxing website but i think its ok in this kind of incident.

Accident was at Ft. Apache and Hacienda, about 1/2 mile away from here. Reportedly ran his motorcycle into the back of a car at high speed.

I am sure LV Metro will publish a detailed report - area is closed for investigation.

Driving that route daily I would suggest some troublespots - a) Ft. Apache / Hacienda is a difficult intersection. b) Ft Apache in that area changes lane width several times due to neighboring construction.

Anyway, the news of Corrales death has been on the local Vegas news.

sad.... sad.... his wife is pregnate also...
she real good friends with jin mosley, shanes wife and its been said there already comin back to vegas to spend time with her from cali...

Man this is tragic he was involved in of the best fights in history (chico vs Castillo I) and my thoughts go out to his friends and family.RIP Diego you were an awesome fighter.

What a loss to the sport. He was a true warrior in boxing and has brought so many people great memorys and entertainment. R.I.P chico u will be sadly missed.
