Seriously, It is not a coincidence that his stable of fighters only fight around the British Isles. Who knows what these fighters could have accomplished if Warren had let them out into America to fight. Warren is a money grubbing ass clown and the legacy of many of his great fighters will never be fully known because of the way he promotes.

that is true but when you sell yourself for 300 pounds a week (600 dollars) then the devil may be the better option lol.

Excuses, excuses, excuses. This is an easy cop out fans of Warren fighters use for their favorite fighters bitchassness. The fact remains that boxers that are signed to him know beforehand what he does and will do with his career: he will match them against soft opposition while getting a good amount of money, a future shot at the WBO, and becoming a local celebrity.

You think Amir Khan didnt know what is coming down the road before he recently signed his extension? The fighters know what they are getting themselves into + they have advisors, managers, etc. that give them advice, it's not like Warren is new and doesnt have a track record. Warren fighters are like playing professional basketball in the Russian league, with an option to come the NBA for potentially more money, but choose to resign in Russia. They like being the big fish in the small pond

amir made a mistake on frank. he should have spoken to golden boy.

before it was hennesy or frank warren for british fighters. top rank showed no interest, and neither did don king most of the time.

golden boy does seem to want to dominate world wide. they realise ricky was a big asset in the uk and can make money from this side of the world. same with david haye.

maybe amir got a big offer who knows

Very well said. Con knew Warren's history before resigning. I think it has to do more with Con struggling with the C level fighters. So resigning with Warren allows him to go back to fighting D level fighters. Like the shot Derrick Gainer. Who is now a D fighter

Khan isn't a joke. He's a young kid who is unfairly being given too much hype/expectations from his UK brethren. He shouldn't really be ridiculed for fighting crappy guys until he's a little older in my opinion. He has a TON to learn, but staying over there and fighting crap guys isn't going to really help him. He needs a better trainer than that guy he just put on.

I agree 100%. I thought Khan would follow Hatton and Haye and sign with GBP. Resigning with Warren is the last thing he should do if he wanna fight in the states.
