Edison Miranda calls out Jermain Taylor

it wont be long till taylors forced to fight him or take a risk moving up, prob passing calzahe at 168 to fight rjj.

Taylor will kill this man.

he couldn't kill the smaller guys like winky and ouma so i cant see him killing miranda. taylor fights on the back foot and miranda walks forward. thats says it all with the power and agresion miranda has.

Oh don't get me wrong. I know he could catch Jermain and KO him but I just don't see it happening. Miranda needs a solid two more years of hard training and buildup fights.

he was floored but not hurt, his chin is like granite. you also forgot to mension he has a very good jab which has lots of pop to set up those crushing hooks.

People should lay off Pantera... his better than Pavlik... and he will beat The Ghost if they were to ever meet... that loss to Abraham was a close one. Don't you think Pantera looks like that black guy with the glasses from The Riffs in that film The Warriors?

this guy is going to put a good old fashion ass-kicking on Taylor if the fight ever gets made.

I think that Taylor would ko Miranda in the 8th or 9th round. Miranda is just a bit too sloppy to beat Taylor. And Miranda doesnt look better in every fight he has. He seams to be at his limit with his skills. And Taylor gets better every fight.

I have heard he has lost to hopkins and that wright dessereved the victory but at the end of the day theres still the W next to ihs name or in wrights case D. Nobody has beat him yet and this guy everyones talkin about dosnt stand a chance if B hop and winky couldnt do it.

the big difference is that Winky and Hop don't have the kind of punching power that Miranda has also keep in mind that like Mayorga vs Forest the better fighter doesn't always win I see it as a similar fight . It will all depend on how Taylor takes a shot form a big guy. and odd angles. and by the way in my humble opinion Winky did edge out Taylor and probably Hop too in their second fight.

Yep. B-hop clearly won the first won, slimly won the second and winky edged out Taylor in there bout. So using W's versus B-hop and not losing to Winky doesn't validate this guy to me based on what a few judges thought.

As far as Miranda I don't know. I hope to hell he would KO taylor but Taylor fared well with B-hop and Winky so who knows. I still say he's a wishy washy "champ"

edison can beat taylor round for round 1-12 and still loose to taylor by UD.
the only way to beat taylor is by KO.

EXACTLY!!!!!!! I swear "boxing" loves Jermain Taylor. He doesn't come to the ring to rap music, talk trash, or get in any trouble. I believe judges are in bed with Taylor.
