Floyd is good maybe even great, but won't deserve a PFP ranking in the history books if he never fights anybody. He's looked impressive against second tier opposition his entire career. Several guys have beat up on all of his top name victories and they're not called pound for pound? If he retires now we'll never know. If the best name on your record is Jose Luis Castillo and you couldn't even knock him out in either fight, then NO, you will never be one of the all time greats. He has always taken fights that he could win easily and never challenged himself when possible like against Antonio Margarito. He'll never take that fight because there's a good chance he'll loose. We shouldn't be encouraging fighters who fight safe Like Floyd and want to be taken so seriously.

floyd has fought some great boxers. Jose luis castillo is a great boxer that has a great chin. He doesnt get KO very often. The Gatti fight will live in history as one of the graetest performances in that weight division. Jesus chavez is a top quality fighter. Diego Corrales one of the modern greats at the weight. And hes became a 4 weight world champion. If thats not enough hes calling out the goldenboy De La Hoya.

I hate to disagree but I wouldn't think any win against Gatti (especially in his old age) could ever go down in history. And we'll see if Floyd faces Oscar like he says. Oscars people apparently sent him a contract to sign and so it's on Floyd now. I however think Oscar is still not the challenge Floyd needs to really go down as one of the greats. Mosley would be able to test him speed wise, Margarito with power, and it looks like maybe Paul Williams with skill and size. Don't get me wrong, I think Pretty Boy is great. But Jermain Taylor would be my vote for Pound For Pound. He actually tests himself against the best around and is also undefeated.

You are the only person who is with me on this Mosely issue. Floyd has to fight Mosely. Mosely beat Oscar twice. Even if Floyd beats Oscar he has to fight Mosely to be known as the all time best.

Well I think that Mosely won the second fight with Forrest. And Forrest fought 2 of the dumbest fights I ever saw when he fought Mayorga. He fought Mayorgas fight both times. He didnt fight the same way when he fought Mosely.

He wont fight them all because he's scared of 2 of them Mosely and Margarito and he only wants to fight oscar because his daddy trains him so why not fight the man that your fater has trained to beat you. and it will be the biggest payday in boxing history.

i would be surprised to see mayorga in a ring again after all the trash talking and ko talk before oscar khtfo.

oscar v mayweather is the only fight to be made out there.

its the only fight the majority of boxing fans would like to see, mosely would be a disapointment so would stinx who seems to be floyds backup plan if the oscar fight cant be made.

Mosely would be no disappointment. And are you serious Stinx is Floyds back up plan and not Mosely. Aint Stinx at Jr. Middle now? Is Floyd willing to go up?

yes floyd is willing to go up allbeit stinx is the lesser champ in the division, before signing to fight baldomir stinx and floyd were in advanced negotiations.

mosely would be a disapointment because he wouldn't win a round against floyd maybe 6 years ago this fight would be great but after winkys two humblings of shane he's only beat the washed up vargas, shane should fight tito next in a fight i think he could win then he should retire.

Mosely would beat Floyd. and Mosely should never fight tito. Tito aint on Moselys level. Tito can even hold Moselys jockstrap. and Stinx vs Mayweather wont even make it to PPV and it will be a repeat of Floyd vs Zab. but Floyd might get knocked down in that fight.
