the only fighters i would rate higher at this point of PBS's career is RJJ and Oscar de la hoya. Maybe Bernard Hopkins. Floyd is a one of talent and will be remebered for his performances.

THANK YOU! I've been saying this forever. I have all of his fights and I'm telling you his is among the best! I dont care what anyone else says. Look past his cockyness and trash talking. Maybe more of you Floyd haters will understand after he takes Oscar.

up to this point in his career he hasn't fought the best possible opponents though, i know his fans wont admit this but he had the chance to fight kostya instead of brussles and margarito instead of baldomir and zab.

i think floyd is the best fighter in the world. I would love to see Oscar knock him on his face and would predict taht happening but at the moment he is the best. Untill somone shuts him up and knocks him out he is the best and that is that. nothing you can do about it.

Tommy who would you rate higher than Floyd P4P and at his weight at the moment welter?

Floyd didn't duck Kostya or Margarito. He would've beaten them both. I can't wait to see what he comes to the ring wearing on May 5th! He may come out on a cross or something, lol. I'm just joking but he's talkin more before this fight than I've ever seen him do.

kostya offered a fight to floyd when kostya was the linear champ at 140lb and floyd DUCKED out. arum offered floyd a CAREER high purse of $8m to fight margarito instead he chose to fight zab who had lost to a journeyman then he chose to fight that very journeyman.

YouTube - Is Floyd ducking Antonio Margarito?

The fight with Zab was going to happen before Zab lost to Baldomir. Ideally Zab was going to win and then Floyd fight for the belt. Floyd would have never fought Baldomir had zab won.
the zab fight should not have happened. take audley harrison for exsample he was ment to fight matt skelton after the sprott "tune up" but since the loss he's flat refused and has signed to fight sprott now! thats the way things should be especialy for the guy who is rated #1 p4p by people. margarito was the match everybody except floyds wanted. i guess there happy watching him take the easy option.

Floyd pretty much had to fight Zab because before he took the L to Baldomir because many people were saying Zab would be the guy that could match floyd's speed and give him trouble. I don't know anyone who wants to see Floyd fight Margarito anyway. The easy option?
Why fight a guy who lost to Lazoya, Dixon, Rodney Jones, and Daniel Santos? Floyd has no losses and Margarito has lost to nobodies.

if you look closer at margaritos defeats he hasn't lost at welterweight in nearly 11 years when he was 18 years old. the loss to santos if you can call it that was at 154 where margarito was stopped by cuts and was going to win the remaining rounds of the fight because santos was finnished in the fight. the win against cintron put margarito on a new level. after all, the talk about cintron was like the talk now about paul williams being the future of the division. margarito was the fight to be made simple as that floyd ducked out!

No excuses.
these aint excuses i deal in facts and the fact is kostya was regarded as the fight when floyd was at 140 and he ducked it and margarito was the fight at 147 and floyd ducked that. thats the so called p4p best in his last 2 weight classes fighting guys not in the top 2 in there weight class.

yeah floyds great.
