The thing is, why is he saying this now that he has a book? If he believed this, why not bring this up after the fight? Sounds like he wants to sell more books!

foremans used every excuse from the ropes being to slack to witch craft. he lost to a superor fighter end of!

well if thats the case he drank that same cup of water in all his fights back them because he was always gassed after that amount of rounds. Foreman just likes to tell stories, he has honored ali many times about beating him and he excepts it now that he was beat, he is just a funny man that likes to talk and sometimes he likes to talk bs but i like the guy.

I like the guy too. But the fight was 30 years ago and he won the Championship again so I hope he didnt really say these things. He just need to let it go.

oh we all knwo that biggy said this, but we all know that he was just kidding. George is over the ali fight, if you watched him commentate on hbo for as lon gas he did you would know he is over it. He just likes to stir things up. If anything, he respects ali more than anyone in this world.

why do we care anywayz? ali won the fight, whether foreman was drugged or not, he threw everythign he had and ali took it, no one was going to knock out or beat ali that night, he was to smart. Whether foreman was telling the truth or not, who really cares.....we all know what happened and so does foreman.

exactly, foreman never looked drugged once in that fight till ali cam off the ropes to end it.

this is just another in a long line of excuses big george has used down the years.

he was intervied around 5 years ago and he said he was ashamed of the excuses he tried to make after the fight, and he also said after reflecting that ali won the fight fair and square.

I doubt it would take him this long to come out with this. Its kind of sad that hes still bitter about this years later. He needs to let go.

I did watch him on HBO but anybody can say anything on TV I think deep down he still thinks he shouldnt have lost that fight no matter what. But I do think he has all the respect in the world for Ali.
