I have a champion Golden Gloves ring from my Father.
He told me he won the ring in 1924 at Madison Square Garden NY.

Historically I can only find 1927 as the first year of the Golden Gloves, and that it was initiated in 1923. My Dad said the year he won this was the first year they gave out a ring.

Does anyone have any information to share on this.

I would never part with this ring but I am curious as to it's value as well.

Can you give me more information on your father and the ring. Is it possible that you have the date wrong? Double check all your information and send it to me at [email protected]. I can research it for you if you like. Also if you have a scaned photo of the ring it would help.
