I agree. Thats a hell of a second half of the year there. I was just commenting in the other thread about how good of a year it has been for boxing matchups. This is, in my estimation, the best year of boxing matchups in the last decade.

Whatever happened to the days when we would get two cards a month on HBO (WCB, BAD) and two cards a month on Showtime (SCB, Sho-Box)?
It seems like the pickings are getting REAL slim these days.

you still get 2 cards a month from each i believe , hbo has like 5 cards in the span of 2 months. showtime has two cards this month. It just seems like its not very much. they both took a break. in the last month.

I'll take quality over quantity any day. And this years schedule has been absolutely LOADED with quality bouts. If I wanna see mediocre bouts every week I'll turn on ESPN's Friday Night Fights.

Really need a big finish, this has been a very forgetable year. Again with the eighty's stuff, I watched Dwight Muhammad Quawi Vs. Eddie Davis, WoW! Toe to Toe war for 11 rounds, you just don't see it much anymore.

I had a look at the SS site, it says that JMM fight will be on Sky Sports 2 at 2am. It still says Barrios though lol shows how much attention they pay.
