When I can't get to the gym (usually due to work schedule), I put the sauna suit on, set the timer ( i have one of those personal round timers) do circuit training, which usually consists of 40 minutes of jumping rope, push-ups, shadowboxing, sit-ups...
It's not a gym workout, but it'll work up a sweat.
200 or so push-up of various styles
200 or so sit-up and cruch varieties
400 arm circles (200 backwards and forwards. Use small tight circles and keep your arms parallel to the floor and straight out to the sides)
60 standing squats
25 lunges (each leg)
50 calf raises
3 sets of 1 minutes "wall-sits" (sit against a flat wall with your back flat agaisnt it and your legs bent at the knees at a 90 degree angle and with your thighs parallel to the ground)
50 jumping jacks
8 rounds of shadow boxing
jog 3 miles
This is pretty much what I do, it may or may not work for you but i don't have a gym membership anywhere so this is what I do to compensate
