Hopkins at heavyweight

I guess it depends on which one. If Jones Jr. can do it, so can B-Hop. I just dont wanna see him do it. Id rather see him go out with a drubbing of Joe Calzaghe.

he couldnt beat calzaghe. Calzaghe is too good for hopkins now. If taylor could beat hopkins twice i think calzaghe could beat him once.

Let's come to reason, we know he won't KO anybody at Heavyweight, but I think he could out box some. Though a Klitschko, Brock, peters, or some other heavy hitter would do some serious damage.

I hope he just stays in retirement and walks off into the sun set. He had a great career, and a heck of a finish.

i would have to agree. hopkins could outclass a heavyweight like john ruiz just like roy jones did but theres no chance he would ko a heavyweight.

Taylor didnt beat him twice, he was just given decisions

And I dont know about him losing to Calzaghe, it would be a good fight.

Calzaghe is a good fighter but Hopkins will win a easy ud because Calz would be outclassed just like Tarver was just not as bad as Tarver was. Remember Hopkins is not a easy person to hit. Lacy is as we all can see now.

And yea I agree that Hopkins can win in the heavyweight division but maybe not against a ko heavyweight.

i really dont think taylor won those two fights. but on the other hand look what calzaghe did to lacy so i would say calzaghe can give b-hop quite a difficult fight because of the hand speed.

That's for damm sure ,can you imagine Hopkins against Vladimir Klishco. Oh my god what a masacre B hop would leave the ring in a strecher with oxigen , Ill bet my house on it.

As great a boxer as Hopkins is... and as much more boxing skill he has than most... if not all... of the heavyweights (ESPECIALLY THE BIG RUSSIAN)... he has been a lanky 6'1" fighter for such a long time... and is in his early 40s... so he'd have to gain what... 30-40 pounds of make the 201 pound limit (the lowest you are allowed to weigh) as a heavyweight... and even then... that wouldn't be good for his body to do... and so on and so forth!
