and that person is SUGAR SHANE MOSLEY.
35 turning 36 year old Sugar Shane Mosley... WHO WAS AWESOME... but at least one of his wins over Oscar De La Hoya was disputed... got beaten by Vernon Forrest twice... destroyed by Winky Wright... and who was the 4th guy? I FORGET!!!Jack_the_ripper said:and that person is SUGAR SHANE MOSLEY.
who cares...he hits harder than floyd and he's problably way faster than mayweather.White Tyson said:35 turning 36 year old Sugar Shane Mosley... He'd hit harder... but weren't we all having a go at Ricky Hatton a few months ago? There's this other thread in which Hatton wants a go at De La Hoya!tommygunn said:the guy to beat floyd is undoubtidly ricky hatton, in the 2 fights floyds fought against pressure fighters (castillo and oscar) he's been handled and looked dead on the ropes. although i felt oscar just done enough to win he gassed towards the end of the fight something hatton wouldn't do.
lets get the fight made floyd v hatton at 147.
it most probably will be shane mosley next though.
If you had been here for long you would have noticed that Hopkins is my boy! He beat Taylor both times and then handled Tarver IMO.PhillyFightGame said:I don't see Shane beating PBF, really. I think Winky and PBF would be a better fight. That being said, it won't happen after B-Hop hunts Winky down and puts him to sleep. As for tonights fight..it went pretty much as I had expected, although DLH was more competitive than I thought he would be...musta been the rage PBF brought on.
What I don't get, is how this was the fight to save boxing. in one corner we have DLH, who Hopkins stopped with a body shot. In the other corner we have PBF who can box, but doesn't have the power to even hurt DLH...add the fact that the fight was as close as it was, and the only thing this fight did for me, was elevate Hopkin's status as a HOF fighter, and make a bigger case why people should want to see Hopkin's come back to fight the Winky's and Calzaghe's of the world.
Like Marvin Hagler, Hop is unappreciated by the majority of the boxing public. All he ever did was train and fight with the heart of a champion in to his 40's..You will miss him and appreciate his greatness once he is gone.
This is the funniest stuff I have heard so far! He ran backwards all night and has POP? LOFLtysonjones said:i saw delahoya hurt plenty of times, i thought he was going to go if floyd landed a few more body shots, he has more pop than you think, he had more than delahoya tonight.
everytime floyd smilied he was hurt, anybody in boxing knows thats a tell-tale sign. he was never in danger but was getting tagged.tyson said:Hatton would do a job on floyd in my opinion. No disrespect to hoya cus hes my favourite fighter today but nobody can hit to the body like hatton can. Hoya hurt mayweather to the body so what would hatton do. Get it on. I reli would prefer this fight to be at 140 though. 147 isnt hattons best weight but 140 he will do the buisness. Shame about hoya losing because he reli deserved the victory but what can u do. I doubt he will want to go through anouther 4 months of training to get in shape like he was on saturday. He won hands down.
that was a joke right?PhillyFightGame said:I'd still like to see PBF fight some stiffer competition from here on out. He needs to fight Cotto, Hatton, or get Winky to come down in weight. I still say a match between he and Winky would be quite riveting, as it would be furious non stop punching.
No sir. Shane is not nearly as fast as Floyd.Jack_the_ripper said:who cares...he hits harder than floyd and he's problably way faster than mayweather.
