Calzaghe is much too good of a boxer, puncher to get caught by Manfrado. Calzaghe should knock him out within eight rounds.

I said in another thread that he has a chance however slim it may be. He would have to get very lucky though. Calzaghe is smart and makes few mistakes and is a phenominal boxer.jezhawk said:Hi all just been reading all your posts thats why i love boxing so much its full of opinon’s i give full respect to joe for what he has done for the sport .
But its boxing and anything can happen and i really think this will be a big fight for him as manfredo has a big heart and a big punch and if he gets it right he can take his crown come april 7th look at tyson v douglas lennox v rackman audley v sprott tonight lol it only takes one punch and its all over
just my opinion. But all the above were never given a chance of winning those fights .
Thanks jez u.k.
175 would be great for joe, he'd be so much stronger at the weight. he's basicly killing himself to make 168, plus hop aint been at the weight to long.LeedsLad said:I think Hopkins is possibly the only with a chance really. But at Hopkins age i dont see him stepping down to 168 to fight Calzaghe, and Joe would be pretty stupid to move upto LHW.
I can't believe you guys are saying Hopkins could beat him but not Kessler! Kessler is young, stronger and faster than any super middle in the world and has the style to outclass and outslug the WBO pretender, you guys need a taste of reality but it won't happen until they actually fight.PrettyBoyFloyd said:I still think Hopkins would beat him. But that's it.

There is ZERO chance that Calzaghe would beat B-Hop, even if Hop comes back down in weight. If Calzaghe goes up to LH, it's a wrap....he gets blown out. Frankly, I don't think he could beat Winky either.
There is a reason why he hasn't come over here to fight yet, and he remains in that "FORGED HAVEN" known as the Super Middleweight division. You really think the money is over there? No, it's here in the US, against the BEST opposition, which he continues to duck. I see it like this: **** or get off the pot!
