thats BS.

hop wouldn't have beat joe primed he wont beat him at his holyfield stage.

calzaghes the best fighter in the world above middleweight, he'd take out taylor to if taylor ever wants to man-up and fight.

you crack me up dude... "THE BEST" are you serious... lol... i'm not saying Kessler is the best, and HOPKINS WOULD MURDER CALZAGHE by the way but Calzaghe the best?... are you serious.... no really i'm being serious... do you really think that? lol what a joke... the man is fast period dot. Nothing more nothing less. How about this.... If Calzaghe would ever actually leave his little back yard and come to the US and fight REAL... TRUE champions for once and win, then maybe you can call him something... but he has mid level fighters on his record besides LACY, o yeah lol and MANFREDO which is more like an amature with potential... lol.... your boys a joke...and you crack me up... i laugh at you sir.... you are one funny guy... good stuff though... Calzaghe's nothing more than some of that good ol' WEAK SAUCE! he will never become anything more than he is... sorry pal....

learn your history wes, you said you'd never heard of calzaghe before lacy. guys like woodhall, reid, veit, brewer, eubank were all exellant fighters and world champions.

hopkins doesn't have the legs or the hand speed to beat calzaghe now.

hopkins can only fight for about 3 rounds of a 12 round fight, joe fights 3 mins a round for 12 rounds.

hop would get murderised.
old subject, but i haven't been on this thread in awhile, I said i only knew Calzahe for about a year BEFORE him and Lacy fought. Calzaghe dose not impress me at all. Yes he had speed but thats it. He will never take a primed B-HOP or a primed RJJ or a JT. lol they are fast and HIT hard as hell especially RJJ. Calzaghe is fast and if he got into the ring with someone just as fast and hit 100 times harder, its a wrap. he slaps end of story. He is a joke and JT is going to introduce to him the canvas here soon. The world that is being fooled and will see the truth soon... i don't hate Calzaghe, I just think he is fake and does noooo backing up. So with that i have NO respect. But lets see if the man will actually take a fight first......
WES, just asking here, how many times have you actually seen Calzaghe fight? Im guessing your just a Taylor nuthugger, and not a complete retard. Taylor struggles to "dominate" Welterweights, he isnt gonna dominate a natural SMW, especially one like Joe. A fight between Calzaghe and Taylor would be a close one either way, neither guy would get KOd so it would go to points.. which Taylor usually wins as we have seen from the past.

I bet before the Lacy fight you were the type of person who said Lacy was going to kill Calzaghe. If Taylor fights Joe he will realise very early just how good Calzaghe actually is.

right on duuuude... lol. for one JT is up and coming and to me he still has to prove a lot, but other than that hes not my favorite fighter. he seems to be the only one that B*tch boy Calzaghe scared ass will fight. Ive only seen about 9 or 10 of Joe's fights by the way. Ridiculous... dudes a joke like i said,. yes hes fast. ewwwww im so impressed.. not really... I don't like lacy. I didn't even watch the fight until after i heard what happened. lol when your boy wants to grow up and play with the BIG BOYS ill tune in. Until then im tired of hearing him mumble and talk talk talk... its pitiful and annoying. If you want to talk about a real british fighter lets talk about HATTON.. now thats a fighter...

Calzaghe is just COMPLETE garbage and a waste of time... and speaking of time... in time the world will see the truth... if the B*tch ass would ever take a fight....

anyway if yo want to talk about a REAL BRITISH CHAMP lets talk HATTON... now that there man is REAL...

Woooow, nice to see an American who doesnt think EVERY British fighter is an overrated bum:p

But yeh, i personally think your wrong about Calzaghe. Certain things we can agree on though. You know how boxing is though man, its not all about the fighters, the promoters can hold back a fighter an awful lot; I lay alot of the blame on Warren personally.

Remember, Calzaghe may not have beaten anyone considered to be an A-Level fighter yet. But JT has also yet to convincingly beat an A-Level fighter. I personally think that Hopkins just couldnt keep at the MW weight when he neared his 40s, and that the Hopkins at 30 or so would beat JT easily.

There both undefeated, and both have a lot to prove. It would be a good fight to see, would prove one of us wrong anyway i suppose:thumbsup:

true, but JT to me has been to battle more than JC. but anyway I just don't care for him and yes like you said Frank Warren does hold him back. but that shouldn't stop him. If he REALLY wanted to prove something, it would have already happened. I think if he beats a few guys here in the US and really DEFEATS them, then he can ASK and DO what ever he wants when it comes to MONEY and locations of the fight. But until then hes just another chump on the street. a wannabe with a big record of nothing.

Hes been champ for 10 years, and the ring champ. Top 10 P4P.. that aint no chump on the street mate. Hes fought some decent fighters, guys like Veit, Lacy, Eubank, Reid, Woodhall arent no bums man. Those guys are former world champs. I understand they arent in the same league as Hop, Winky etc but they arnt 'chumps from the street' as you put it:laugh:
No they're chumps from the other side of the pond. Just kidding. I like Calzaghe and respect him a lot. My thing is that he hasn't been tested yet. Taylor would beat him in my opinion.
true, chump is the wrong word. But we will see... like I said before, when he decides to grow a pair and come over and play with the big kids, you will see his flaws. i see them all day. Only thing I don't see are the quick hands... i do admit they are fast. But they are just "amateur piddle patts" as Manfredo put it best. But you can argue that because he did punch/push Lacy to the canvas. But thats neither here nor there... you will see and be exposed to a 10 year joke that had a lot of people fooled. But thats if JC decides to fight.
im sure if most fighters were asked they'd say joe "slaps" very hard.

byron mitchell great chin, flatened, mario veit, great chin flatened.

for somebody who's only seen joe fight once, twice max wes sure has a lot to say.
He may not punch as hard as other guys, but he puts together big combos and after a few rounds this starts to take its toll.

Im about 95% sure Calzaghe is the real thing, but i am 100% sure about something else, Taylor is NOT the man to expose him.
