All action IBF #4, WBC/WBA #6, WBO #8 junior middleweight contender Joel Julio returns to the ring on Wednesday against the Contender's Ishe Smith in a ten-round bout from the River Rock Casino Resorts in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. "I am very excited to fight again on ESPN," said Julio. "It is very important to me to look good against Ishe because I want to fight for a world title next. Ishe is a good fighter who will bring out the best in me." Julio (31-1, 29 KOs) is a 23-year-old Monteria, Colombia native who has stopped 21 opponents within the first three rounds. He has won his last four bouts, three by knockout. In his last bout on May 16, 2007, Julio blasted out Mauro Lucero in one round. Smith (19-2, 9 KOs) has won four of his last five bouts, last topping journeyman Carlos De La Cruz in February.

I'm interested to also see what , if any, progress he has made. I'd like to see his lateral movement increase.
He's fun to watch because of his great power, but he seems to have more trouble against elusive guys. I'm looking forward to the fight though, for sure

Yup Jcc jr vs Julio would be great! aslong as Jcc doesnt get into a slugfest and fight on the outside and plays smart he could win and if not well we would get to see how good Jcc chin is.
