Hi all,
I'm not a boxer but seeing as rope jumping is a boxing training activity, I thought I could get help here...
I've been jumping rope for a few weeks. Lately I've noticed pain in the achilles tendon area. I've been jumping in a driveway. I know, not good. My calves are fine. I've started to do tendon stretches.
I just ordered a shock absorbing fitness mat from TKO.
Do you think using these mats will eliminate/prevent this pain? I need to give it a rest until the pain goes away. Any other advice for prevent injury?
